Reserve Bank of India Guideline: Indians can receive cash up to maximum INR 50,000 per transaction. Account payee bank cheque will be given to Indian nationals in case the amount crosses INR 50,000. Alternatively you can send more than one transaction per day up to certain limit if you want your Indian receiver to receive all payments in cash. For non-Indian nationals any amount can be given in cash so far the amount sent is as per the laws of the country from where the money is sent. In India maximum 12 transactions can be received per person in a year.
